History Day
Kings County History Day is a competition for all Kings County students from grade 4-12 sponsored by the Kings County Historical Society. It is our objective to foster and promote public knowledge of and interest in the history of Kings County. During this event it is our hope that students will not only learn about the historical events, people and places in Kings County; but will also apply what they have learned through creative and original productions. History is not just about those things written in the history books, but about the people and events in their local community yesterday and today.
